IPC Championships Barnadown 😁👍

Hilary and Maeve would like to thank all the members and parents, grandparents that travelled to Sligo. As a club we came home with 1st, 3 x 2nd, 3 x3rds, 4 X 4ths, 6th and Horsemanship Rosettes for team jumping. 🐴🏵🐴 Some of our younger riders did fantastic in the combine training SJ with clear rounds and unfortunately lost out in placing, so as club we need to do more dressage…. We would like to thank Trudi for spending days printing the bib numbers for this event, so the rest of us could enjoy the day and not have to take on jobs. Thank the parents that made sandwiches for EVERYONE 😁 and club members that came with no ponies and helped plait, lead and supported the club.😁

What a brilliant day at the Area 6 Qualifiers Jill came 1st in Open c/b training & off to RDS 👍 🏵🐴👏🏻👏🏻 Betsy came 2nd in open individual Jill came 3rd😁 clodagh came 3rd in Intermediate c/b training 😁 Jenny joined Crew Bay team and came 2nd in John Ledingham😁 Ruby came 3rd in junior c/b training 🐴😁 Alice mernagh team rode so well against big competition and came 4th and won the Horsemanship 👏🏻😁😍🐴 Alison came 2nd in pure dressage 👍👏🏻 Sorcha came 2nd in under 10 c/b training and Sara came 6th 😁👏🏻 We had great team spirit and Hilary and Maeve are very proud of our club today 😁 So we’re off to Barnadown 😁🐴

Well camp 2019 is over 😢 31 brilliant members from 6yr to 20yrs old. In a fantastic venue Eglinton Equestrian Centre 🐴😁🐴 7 instructors 🤗 over 3 days…. Thank you Gary Marshall for your SJ knowledge and expertise with the Seniors group, plus a lot of bribery to get you to camp 🤣 Our club members and committee were overwhelmed to have the super Jacqui Mc Pherson back teaching.. such a privilege 👏🏻👏🏻 NO camp can happen without Mr Daniel Lusbay the legend 😍 even the Mammy’s were smitten, so appreciated D🙏 He drove miles to teach and entertain the kids each day, Kyle Richard Hays, thank you 😁 The younger kids gained so much valuable PC knowledge and training from the talented Trish Warren 👍 Rachel Carton what can we say….the future kids of our club was in her hands and boy did she work for her money 🤣 they were show jumping, bareback ridding, pony games, hairdressing 🤔 we have the photos 🤣 Hilary Duncan for coming in at the last minute and doing some flatwork with the seniors 👏🏻👏🏻 None of this would happen without the great PC committee especially our DC Hilary, she tried to cycle back to Kilmacrennan on Saturday but thankfully she forgot the way home & came back to camp🤣 Our great kitchen staff of parents that cleaned, washed fed and watered everyone 👏🏻👏🏻 The MEN what can I say, everyone mucked in literally….however a big special thank you to Andrew and Jason, three days of camping, lifting and moving jumps, plus looking after kids so appreciated 👍 The smiling faces tells it all………..roll on 2020 Thank You 🙏
